About the Role:
We are seeking a young and motivated person to join our team, to help us deliver workshops and awareness activities on snakes and snakebite prevention in schools and villages, help us build our social media presence and build our relationship with authorities and partners.
The schedule is flexible and can be easily adapted to fit previous commitments making this role ideal for a student, an example of the work week would be:
2 full days a week ( hours, 9 AM to 6 PM, 1 hour lunch break) and 2 half days a week (4 hours work per day).
The work can be done partially from remote (home), and it would require occasional travels within or outside Siem Reap Province.
Probation period of 3 months with possibility of extending the contract after the end of the first year with salary increase.

| Language: | Fluency in written and spoken Khmer, good English |
| Contract: | 1-year FDC Fixed Duration Contract with possibility of extension. All the benefits as per labour law. |
| Duties & Responsibilities: |
- Assist on day-to-day tasks including translation, receptionist, communication with partners and event organization.
- Lead outreach activities on snake encounter management and snakebite first aid for adults and children across Cambodia.
- Assist the Director delivering training to customers across Cambodia.
- Help to assist the snakebite survivors in their healing journey (mainly via message and phone calls, sometimes outside the working hours)
- Assist the Communication Manager and the volunteers into creating engaging content for social media and educational and promotional videos and material.
- Represent SRP in public events and in meeting with the authorities.
- Ensure the maintenance of appropriate, accurate and clear documentation of all, outreach, education, case management and group activities – report writing.
| Qualifications: |
- No specific degree is necessary for this role, a degree in education, communication, social work or related field or work experience is an advantage.
- Previous experience with snakes is not necessary as SRP will provide training, although it is necessary not to be afraid of snakes.
- Excellent communicator, good at public speaking and able to engage the public in a fun and charismatic way.
- Organized and with good computer literacy.
- As we work with snakebite survivor in difficult situations, a high level of empathy, cultural awareness and good interpersonal skills are necessary.
